Usage

Used to mean "still in the middle of doing"

(ますform~~-ます ~~) + (かけだ/かけの+N/かける)

飲みかけのジュースがテーブルの上にある There's unfinished soft drink on the table

あれ?このパソコンは誰かの食べかけだ Eh? Somebody's left this bread half-eaten
