Grammar you'll actually say.
Every JLPT grammar point from N4 to N1, as a conversation instead of a chart. Ten minutes a day on your phone.
Textbooks teach you Japanese.
Japanana teaches you to speak it.
Every review is one scrolling chat. A grammar point comes up, you answer the way you would in real life, and the examples follow so you hear it in context before you move on.
Five ways to be asked
The same point comes back in a different shape, so you learn the grammar, not the question.
- 1Pick one
Four usages, one fits. The classic.
-
2Swipe it
Does this usage fit? Right for yes, left for no.
-
3Fill the gap
The grammar is cut out of a real sentence. Put it back.
-
4What does it mean
Pick the translation of a sentence that uses it.
-
5Which one is it
Two points you keep mixing up, side by side.
Six books. All of Japanese grammar.
Read any point for free right here. Open it in Japanana to practise it and keep it as a sticker.
Conversation grammar
All 17 Talk points →Do these sound like you?
Here's how we fix that
- “I can read it, but I can't say it.”✓Practise in real conversation-style chats
- “Real Japanese sounds nothing like my textbook.”✓Grammar the way people actually use it
- “I forget grammar a week after learning it.”✓Weak spots come back before you forget
- “I mix up grammar that looks the same.”✓Japanana spots your mixed-up pairs
A sticker for every point you master
The sticker book shows every grammar point as a sticker: weak, learning, mastered or new. Three right first tries in a row and it is yours.
Progress you can see
Streaks, first-try accuracy, an activity heatmap and mastery per book. Japanana tracks which pairs you mix up and brings them back the day you would forget.
Today's review, built for you
A daily mix of new grammar and the points you have not mastered yet, with a reminder at the time you choose. Ten minutes is enough.
