「たとえ-でも」even though ~; although ~ (formal / written, often for general truths or strong statements)
Examples
子どもといえども、約束は守らなければならない
Even though they are children, they must keep their promises.
プロといえども、常に成功するとは限らない
Even professionals do not always succeed.
