Usage
「たとえ-ても」「どんなに-ても状況や判断が変わらない」even if ~; even though ~; no matter ~ (formal / literary). Often expresses strong determination or concession
Examples
親がどんなに反対しようとも、私は自分の意思を変えない
No matter how much my parents oppose it, I will not change my decision.
いかに便利であろうとも、コストがかかりすぎるものはダメだ
No matter how convenient it may be, anything that costs too much is not acceptable.
