Usage
という理由で is used to present the reason for a state, event or action started in the main clause.
Examples
アルバイトで忙しいという理由で、学校を休む学生がいます。
There are students who skip school because they are busy with part-time jobs.
このゲーム機は、安くて使いやすいという理由で、よく売れているそうだ。
This game machine, is cheap and easy to use, that is why it seems easy to sell them.
