ますように/ませんように
Usage
ますように / ませんように indicates wishing, hoping or praying that something will or will not happen. It is often used together with [どうか] or [どうぞ] when talking to oneself, or as a warning to someone else
Examples
優しい人と結婚できますように。
I hope I can get married to someone nice
どうか大きい地震が起きませように.
I hope there won't be any big earthquakes.
