Used to express fear or anxiety (ますform~~-ます ~~) + かねない
Examples
そんな危ない運転をしていたら、事故になりかねない
You might cause an accident if you drive so dangerously
もっときちんと説明しないと、誤解されかねない
You might be misunderstood if you don't explain the more issue more thoroughly
