ことが / もある
Usage
(V / Vない / いA -い / なAな / Nの) + ことが / もある -> means that an event occasionally happens or a situation sometimes arises.
Examples
8月はいい天気が続くが、時々大雨が降ること(が/も)ある。
August will be mainly fine, but it will occasionally rain heavily.
母の料理はいつも美味しいが、時々美味しくないこと(が/も)ある.
My mother's cooking usually tastes very good, but sometimes it doesn't.
