たまま, ...-のまま
Usage
Vたform / Nの + まま indicates doing Y in the state pertaining after an action V has taken place or indicated by a noun. It is used in cases where Y is not usually done in the situation described.
Examples
メガネをかけたまま、お風呂にはった。
I got into the bath with my glasses on.
昨夜の地震にはびっくりして、下着のまま、外に出た。
I was so startled by last night's earthquake that I ran out in my underwear.
