Usage

Verbs indicating motion, such as [行く、渡る、曲がる、出る], are used in the たform + ところ to indicate the position arrived at after the motion has taken place

あの信号を左へまっがてところに、郵便局があります There's a post office just after you turn left at those traffic lights

改札を出て、階段を登ったところで、持っていてください Go through the ticket barrier and wait at the top of the steps, please
