「-という特別な理由なら」 if it is the case that ~; if ~ (then naturally…); used when a certain condition strongly motivates action

恩師の頼みとあれば、断るわけにはいかない If it’s a request from my mentor, I can’t refuse.

病気がわかった時はショックだったが、それも運命とあれば、受け入れるしかない I was shocked when I found out about the illness, but if it’s fate, I have no choice but to accept it.
