Usage

Two successive numbers are used to indicate an approximate number or amount.

今から２、3時間、図書館に勉強しにって行きます。 From now on I will go to the library to study for two or three hours.

あの車は、3、4日ずっと家の前に止まっている。いったい誰の車なんだろうか。 This car has been parked for 3 or 4 days in from of that house. The heck I wonder who it does belong to.
