Usage

Indicates that nothing extreme is going to be done. Although 普通は-する is normally expected, the unexpected follow on -しない appears. -たりしない implies that nothing analogous to - is going to be done, either

あの社長は一度やると決めたら、何があってもやめたりしない Once that the president has decided to do something, he never gives up on anything, no matter what happens
お母さん、怒らない? 。。。試験の点数なんかで怒ったりしませんよ。 Mum, aren't you going to get angry? ...I don't get angry or anything over something like examination marks.
