Uso

-まま indicates that the state of X remains unchanged or that someone does something without changing the current state of X.

Xままだ = seguir igual que -

Xまま(で)V = V con -; V mientras -; V tal (como está); V sin X

今のままだと、地球温暖化は止まらない。 Si todo sigue como ahora, el calentamiento global no se detendrá.

あのまま日本に残っていたら、もっと日本語が上手になっただろう。 Si me hubiera quedado en Japón así, probablemente hablaría mucho mejor japonés.
