全く
Gebrauch
全く is used for emphasis in affirmative sentences. It is often used to express speaker's emotion. In negative sentences まったく indicates complete negation. It is used with verbs (often potential verbs) and i-adjectives in negative sentences. まったく-(という)わけだはない
まったく = völlig, ganz und gar, vollkommen, äußerst
まったく-ない = überhaupt nicht; nicht im Geringsten
まったく-(という)わけではない = Es ist nicht so, dass ... völlig ...

彼と私の考えはまったく同じだ。
Er und ich denken genau gleich.
あの映画はまったく面白くなかった。時間のムダだった。
Der Film war überhaupt nicht interessant. Reine Zeitverschwendung.
